Hey my fellow Petites,
I'm sorry I haven't updated this blog in a while - as I have end of semester exams and assignments which are due pretty soon.
However, as I've hinted before - so many things have happened in my life in this last couple of months. For this reason, I'm going to incorporate other topics such as business and law into this blog. Petites, I'm not neglecting fashion entirely - but I feel there's more to life than just fashion.
I know I'm hypocrite for typing all of this, the point of this blog was to show the latest clothes and accessories suitable for us Petites. However, while I still love shopping, Chanel and fashion magazines - I want to talk about more things.
I'm taking a break from blogging for the next two weeks so I can finish off my assignments.
Have a good weekend!

Star Icon for 5ft0 revealed.
At the moment, I'm loving Rachel Bilson's style. She has the fashion column gig in Instyle magazine over at the US of A. I won't say her fashion sense is on par with the likes of Audrey Hepburn, Jacqueline Kennedy and Kate Moss. But...she's a style icon for us petite girls. Go petites!
Like moi, Bilson's only three apples tall. I'm in wardrobe envy with her, because she's been looking super-cute lately. I know the girl loves fashion and has a Edie Rose line for DKNY - but Bilson should write a book called, "Fashion for Petites" or "Dressing for the Vertically Challenge" and send it to girls like moi to dress up without looking stumping or overwhelmed with our clothes.
1. Wear a belt to show off your tiny waist. It creates the illusion of curves.
2. Choose clothes with classic shapes and bright patterns. Bilson wears these types of fabrics with basic accessories (think pendants and small bracelets) without overwhelming the whole outfit. Being a petite, she loves her high heels - so buy as many as you can!
3. Buy straight or skinny jeans. I know bootleg jeans are considered a classic, but unless you're around 165cm or more - you'll look stumpy. Straight leg or skinny jeans will give the illusion of longer legs.
4. When it comes to dresses - make sure they sit right above the knee. Any longer, again, you'll look stumpy.
5. With shoes - don't buy shoes that cut off right at the ankle. Same reason as tip number four.
Happy shopping!

Love Miu Miu
I was looking through the fashion campaign for Miu Miu. Kirsten Dunst did the Spring/Summer collection for 2008 and this outfit caught my eye:
I love the vibrant colours and the Alice in the Wonderland theme in this shoot. However, I've been searching everywhere and I can't find the exact replica of this dress. Does anyone know where I can find this dress?
Still searching,

Cute Things I Adore...
I'm like a magpie when it comes to things which are cute and shiny. Actually, there are three things I adore:
I like a statement necklace and I whenever I wear this necklace around town - I always get comments such as, "Was that necklace customised for you?" "That's such a cute necklace!" and "Can you play with it?"
It may raise a few eyebrows, but this Pan Pipe Flute Necklace by Disney Couture is one I truly adore. They use to be available on My Catwalk for $149, but they're sold out at the moment. If you really like this, your best bet would be eBay.
Anyway, I hope you have lovely things install for Mother's Day tomorrow.
Take care,

I have a weakness for cupcakes - or anything sweet for that matter. This has to be the cutest little cupcake lip gloss pots I've ever seen. My personal favourite is strawberries and cream lip gloss pot. I also love the name tag 'Naughty but Nice' - feels like it describes this product perfectly *winks*.
Shoe Themed Notepad, $15. Available at PeepToe Shoes.
If you're a shoe person, then this notepad is for you! I think it adds magic to any stationery set.

Shoes Over Boys
Without any hestiation, I will choose a cute pair of shoes over a guy any day. People may look at me funny when I tell them that - but I've had more crushes on shoes than I do with guys. Seriously...
There are a few pair of shoes I want to get my little hands on really soon. Here are my top picks:
I love anything with a cute bow - it adds that Alice in the Wonderland innocence to any outfit. It's available in black, beige and navy. My personal favourite is the navy. It's a versatile pair of platform shoes and it's cute! If you're interested, it's available at WantedShoe.
Patent black heels are still on the rage this winter. I'm loving these amazing cut-out broque style heels from Peep Toe. Ahh...I wish they were on my feet right now. Mimco did a similar pair of shoes called the Achilles heels and it retailed for $499. Seriously, I know which one I would prefer.
Another pair of shoes with a bow on it - the Chanel inspired 'Today' shoe from Nine West. It's available in black and beige. Oh dear, I'm addicted to bows.
Hope you all have a lovely weekend my fellow Petites!
